A comfortable and cosy terraced stone cottage, superbly located in the South Lakeland village of Lindale on the edge of the Lake District. Well appointed to provide welcoming accommodation, this Lindale cottage is ideal for families or friends who wish to enjoy time together exploring the beautiful Lake District. The open plan living accommodation in this Lindale cottage has been divided using ships’ timbers and has an original flight stone flag floor with a woodburning stove and two sofas, a perfect place to relax after a long day. Outside the cottage is a small patio which can accommodate one car and a pub serving good food. There is plenty to do in the area, with interesting walks from the doorstep or around Lake Windermere, numerous golf courses, and the elegant town of Grange-over-Sands, with plenty of excellent tea rooms, specialist food shops and a promenade. Within 30 minutes’ drive of this Lindale cottage is the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, the Haverthwaite and Lakeside Steam Railway, and the Aquarium of the Lakes. From Lakeside you can embark on the Windermere Steamer and enjoy the spectacular scenery whilst cruising up Lake Windermere to the bustling towns of Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside. This Lindale cottage is a perfect base at any time of the year. The kitchen is very well equipped for self-catering.
