More information

This end-terrace cottage is located in the heart of the thriving fishing village of Eyemouth, on Scotland’s beautiful Berwickshire coast. An ideal cottage for family or friends, in a convenient location, less than one minute’s walk to the beach, shops and pubs. Creel Cottage is aptly named, as it is one of the oldest buildings in Eyemouth, and was used to store the fishing nets in between trips on the turbulent North Sea. The ground floor has a spacious dining room and the sitting room is bright and airy, a lovely spot to curl up with a book after a long day’s castle construction on the beach. The first floor kitchen is well equipped and has a handy breakfast table and chairs. Three first floor bedrooms and a family bathroom complete this pretty little cottage. Stroll along to the beach at any time of year, whether on sunny days to picnic on the sands, or on winter days to blow away the cobwebs with the children and dogs in tow. As well as the sandy beach, there’s also a good selection of cafes, shops and bars. Days out along this rugged coastline are varied and endless, visitors can enjoy coast path walks, watch the day’s haul being landed, play a round of golf or explore the nearby castles of this Heritage Coastline. A perfect cottage from which to explore this lovely part of the country.
