Daffodil Cottage is a charming, well‑presented retreat set on a peaceful working farm with 14 acres of private woodland and fields in the village of Blaencwm, South Wales. It offers a cosy, characterful base for couples seeking a relaxing rural escape surrounded by beautiful countryside. Compact yet cleverly arranged, the cottage is ideal for couples wanting to unwind together while exploring this scenic part of the Valleys. Step inside to an inviting open‑plan living space where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas come together to create a sociable, comfortable hub. The kitchen is equipped for easy self‑catering, and the sitting area provides a welcoming spot to relax in front of the Smart TV after a day outdoors. A separate utility and bike storage room keeps the main space clutter‑free, while the double bedroom and modern shower room with walk‑in shower offer a restful end to each day. The simple layout makes the cottage especially well-suited to couples travelling together. Outside, a front patio with outdoor furniture invites you to enjoy fresh air from morning to evening. Off‑road parking for two cars is provided, and families with young children can make use of the highchair and travel cot. A track from the farm leads directly to the stunning Pen Pych Waterfall walk — beautiful in all seasons. Wild swimmers will love the nearby waterfall pool, just minutes from the cottage and perfect for a refreshing dip, whilst those seeking calm can simply relax beside the mountain stream that runs through the farm, and discover its own tranquil, private waterfall. The award‑winning town of Treorchy, crowned the UK’s High Street of the Year in 2019, offers shops and pubs close by, while the wider valleys provide endless walking, mountain biking and exploring. Further afield, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath and Swansea offer shopping, heritage attractions and coastal scenery. With its peaceful setting and welcoming atmosphere, Daffodil Cottage is a delightful base for discovering South Wales.
