    More Information

This charming first and second floor apartment takes a wonderful position on the city walls, with exceptional views over the River Dee in Chester. Equally perfect for couples, friends or families, this retreat is a fabulous holiday choice, from the characterful interior to the intriguing scenery, you will never want to leave this little hideaway. External steps take you up to this one-of-a-kind cottage, commencing with a country-cottage kitchen which invites the river landscape inside. After an adventure-filled day, you will look forward to settling down in the lounge, a precious set-up with a corner sofa, and a glass coffee table, all uplifted by natural lighting. A collection of books are on offer for a good read, and the dining table is a chance to join your loved ones for a home-cooked meal in the evening. Three bedrooms are located on the second floor, choose from the double with its own feature fireplace, and elevated views from the balcony, or the magnificent twin zip/link option. The final double bedroom benefits from over bed storage cupboards, with a classic shower room and two separate toilets finishing the interior. Outside is where you will want to be; take a stroll along the city walls, with the calming scenery to lead the way, or why not explore the town and its medieval attractions. From the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed townhouses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture, you will be spoilt for choice. The city has much to offer the tourist, including shopping in and around the famous Tudor ‘Rows’ and a relaxing afternoon in the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Further afield, the Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint market towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula are a breath of fresh air.
