Here you will find a kitchenette with plenty of amenities for home cooking, as well as an AGA for the cooler months. Enjoy a hearty meal with your significant other, toasting to your getaway with a glass of fizz at the dining table, before cosying up into the plush corner sofa and enjoying the ambient glow of the electric fire, settled into a simply beautiful exposed stone bread oven style fireplace. When sleep calls, freshen up in the shower room, and there is also a cloakroom, before retiring to the characterful king-size bedroom. When the sun is shining, head outside to dine alfresco, enjoying the fresh air and the sound of birdsong. When you are ready to explore, stock up on essentials or enjoy a hearty meal out at Llangadog or visit Llandeilo where you will find the ruins of the National Trust’s Castell Dinefwr. Close by attractions include days out to the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Dinefwr Park and Castle, Aberglasney Gardens, and Castell Dryslwyn, or for incredible scenic walks head over to the breath-taking Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Trails and sites to visit include Garreg Lwyd, the Black Mountain, Carreg Cennen Castle, and Fan Brycheiniog Stone Shelter. Cynghordy viaduct is a short drive away, it carries the Heart of Wales railway line, also accessible from Llandeilo, Llangadog and Llandovery railway stations, whilst the newly constructed, traffic -free Tywi valley cycle path runs from Llandeilo to Carmarthen, popular with cyclists and walkers alike.
