This large and comfortable detached bungalow sits on the edge of Newport in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is a real family home-from-home and has original works by local artists and craftsmen dotted throughout. Views of Newport Bay can be enjoyed from some of its rooms. It provides a perfect base for a holiday in north Pembrokeshire.
Parrog beach and the Nevern estuary is a ten minute walk from the property, where the 186 mile long Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined.
There are a good range of facilities in Newport for the holiday maker, including pubs, cafes and restaurants, independent shops and galleries. It has a general store and a weekly Local Producers Market. Newport’s second beach, Newport Sands, is backed by an 18-hole golf course.
Forming a backdrop to the town are Carningli Mountain and the Preseli Hills.
For walkers, coastal shuttle buses can be joined in Newport, making it possible to cover different parts of the coast path if desired.
