The historic landmark or Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill Barrow is just a short drive north-west of the village, as are the tourist hotspots of Lathkill Dale and Magpie Mine. The market town of Bakewell can be found nearby, home to Bakewell Bridge and Thornbridge Brewery, whilst the site of Haddon Hall is just outside the town but well worth a visit.
