This large terraced cottage rests within the Cumbrian town of Millom, with plenty of walking, cycling and coastal adventure nearby. Just 1.5miles from the golden shingle sand of Haverigg Beach. To the right is the bright and airy sitting room, where you can get cosy by the gas fire and exchange stories of the day you’ve just had, over a hot cup of tea. Why not prepare a tasty meal in the elegantly modern kitchen and gather in the dining room next door for those memorable evenings together. The spacious family bathroom rests at the top of the staircase with a roll top bath taking centre stage in the middle of the room, ideal for an indulgent soak on return from a day at the beach. There are two double bedrooms to retire to after an evening of fun and games downstairs. The layout of the second level mirrors the floor below, with a large bathroom playing host to another bath and separate corner shower, so there’s plenty of areas for everyone to get ready for the day ahead. Another two double rooms follow, with plenty of light oozing in through the windows, bundles of character and views over the front across the green. Close by are all the amenities of Millom town centre, with local shops, pubs and eateries, as well as the remains of its old castle. Within walking distance there is Haverigg, a small coastal village with a beautiful Blue Flag beach. A great place to see some spectacular sunsets. Why not walk along the old sea wall and pass the remains of disused iron mine, which has been filled with water to create a huge lagoon. Hodbarrow nature reserve is home to a great array of wildlife. This is a great place for avid bird watchers as a wide range of birds call this lagoon their home. You also have the South Lakes Safari Zoo a short drive away.
