From the outside, Durham Bridge Barn looks like a classic Lakeland property, but inside you’ll find pure luxury. The property is a converted barn situated in the Lyth Valley, fully refurbished, contemporary and chic. Sitting beside a whitewash farmhouse in the Lyth Valley, which appears on Lonely Planet’s list of most beautiful places on earth, the approach to Durham Bridge Barn is via a private lane. The property is just 20 minutes away from Windermere, from Bowness and from Cartmel, the home of sticky toffee pudding and L’Enclume the Michelin award winning restaurant. Closer to the property is the Lyth Valley pub that serves excellent food and drinks.
