Wander the surrounding moorland and enjoy the great outdoors, making the most of the panoramic views. Whisky connoisseurs must pay a visit to Dartmoor Whisky Distillery, where they can take a guided tour and learn how the single malt beverage is produced, before getting the chance to sample some yourself. Venture a little further into the moor to visit the ancient village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor: enjoy lunch or a cream tea at The Cafe on The Green or sample the local ale at The Rugglestone Inn.
