East meets West is a well-appointed house in Criccieth, Gwynedd, offering roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis, an open-plan living space, and a multi-tiered garden just a short stroll from the beach. Step inside and you’re welcomed into a bright social hub where the kitchen, dining area, and sitting space flow together, making it easy to spend time as a group, whether preparing simple meals or settling in after a day outdoors. A ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail is ideal after sandy walks, and upstairs, a king-size bedroom and a bunk room provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families. Outside, the tiered garden offers space to pause at different times of day, from morning coffee on the patio to relaxed evenings on the lawn. At the bottom of the garden is a massive rock/small hill from which you have a 360 degree view including of the castle and beach. From the doorstep, Criccieth is easy to explore on foot. Walk along the promenade to the sandy beach, pause beneath Criccieth Castle for far-reaching coastal views, or browse the town’s independent shops and cafés along the high street. Just along the coast, Porthmadog is renowned for its harbour, shops, and heritage railways, while nearby Portmeirion boasts colourful architecture and coastal paths that surround its famous village. Harlech completes the trio with wide beaches backed by dunes and its striking clifftop castle. After days spent discovering this corner of the Llŷn Peninsula, East meets West is a welcoming place to return to.
