Head through to the living/dining room following a day of adventure to find a beautiful Chesterfield sofa to relax on, an armchair, and a woodburning stove within an ornate fireplace, with a TV and more thoughtful decoration from the Pre-Raphaelite movement. You will find a history of Emerald Cottage through time from 1890, so you can understand the provenance of your accommodation, and also a biography for each Brontë sister and Branwell. Take the stairs up to the first floor to find the first bedroom, this one named after Charlotte Brontë, boasting a pretty set of single beds with a feature fireplace adding further character, along with a wall-mounted TV. A small patio to the side of the property means you can soak up the village surroundings with your morning coffee, while balmy summer evenings can be enjoyed with a refreshing drink before heading to one of Haworth’s restaurants.
