    More Information

This lovely cottage is only 4 miles from Keswick and 1 mile from Keswick Golf Club, in the picturesque Threlkeld village. At the foot of Blencathra mountain, you’ll find amazing views to Helvellyn and beyond here.

This light and airy cottage, with lovely oak flooring, has folding doors at the front, and French doors on the side, to maximise the gorgeous view. With access to the garden from the lounge, front and rear patios, and a garden, this is a place for all the family to enjoy the countryside.

The lounge has comfortable seating and plenty of space for all the family to gather, and a wall mounted TV with Netflix if the weather’s bad. The diner/kitchen is beautifully done with a dining table and a breakfast bar. There’s also a utility room with space for your muddy boots and outdoor clothes, so you don’t have to walk through the house when you’ve just been hiking, and a superb downstairs shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find a lovely master bedroom with a super king-sized bed, another king-sized room with dual aspect for stunning views, a single bedroom, and a pretty family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside through the French doors, you’ll find a patio with dining furniture and a lawned garden for your private use, all perfect for enjoying the amazing views.

Eribel Cottage is right at the foot of Blencathra for hiking right on your doorstep, and the village of Threlkeld is close by, with its mining history and pretty cottages. You’ll find home cooked food and local ales in the pubs, and fantastic walks to Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick Railway Path, and the Cumbrian Way. And if you’re a keen golfer, Keswick Golf Club is only one mile away.

Travel just four miles to the town of Keswick, with its shops and restaurants, the Pencil Museum, Mining Museum, crazy golf at Hope Park and a lot more to see and do. And Derwentwater isn’t far for sailing, water sports and more amazing walks.

Eribel Cottage is well-placed for a busy and fun family holiday with so much to enjoy and explore, and a luxury cottage to come home to at the end of the day.
