More information

Rhosneigr 2 miles. Faraway is a well-appointed bungalow nestled near the village of Rhosneigr in Sir Ynys Mon. Suited to families and friends, this pet-friendly abode features a warming open fire, large gardens, and stunning sea views. Park the car and take a moment to admire the stunning coastal views opposite this 1930s Art Deco bungalow. Follow the path with lawns stretching out on either side before climbing the steps and stepping through the front door into the welcoming hallway, where artwork lines the walls and sets the tone for your stay. Turn left into the spacious sitting room, where comfortable sofas invite you to put your feet up after a day exploring the coastline. On cooler evenings, light the open fire and settle in with the TV on as its gentle glow creates a welcoming atmosphere. Peek through the shutter blinds to reveal views towards the sea, or simply watch the changing light across the coast as you unwind together. Continue through to the tiled kitchen, where everything is in place to prepare anything from a hearty breakfast before setting out to evening meals using fresh local ingredients. Keep beach picnic supplies chilled in the fridge, pop the kettle on for a well-earned cup of tea after coastal walks, and let the dishwasher take care of the washing up while you enjoy more time with loved ones. Nearby, the dining room features wooden flooring and a selection of books, making it a pleasant place to linger over meals, challenge one another to a board game, or settle down with a book. When evening arrives, retire to one of the four bedrooms. The spacious king-size bedroom benefits from two fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room, providing a little extra privacy, while the two twin bedrooms and bunk room offer flexible sleeping arrangements for families and friends. The bathroom features a bath and basin, ideal for soaking tired legs after days spent on the coast, while a separate WC helps make mornings run smoothly. Outside, there is plenty of space to enjoy the fresh sea air. The enclosed rear garden combines a lawn with a wildflower meadow that bursts into bloom during the spring months, creating a peaceful setting for children and dogs to explore, while the side lawn offers even more outdoor space. At the front, gather around the picnic bench with lunch or simply sit back and admire the coastal views stretching into the distance. With the beach just a pleasant stroll away, seaside adventures are never far from your doorstep. Spend a day at National Trust – Plas Newydd House and Gardens, where a stunning waterfront mansion reveals centuries of history, beautifully landscaped gardens invite leisurely strolls, and woodland walks offer the chance to spot the estate’s resident red squirrels.  Enjoy a family day out at GreenWood Family Park, splashing down water slides, tackling the barefoot trail, watching an entertaining magic show, and relaxing together in the picnic areas between adventures. Venture into Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), where mountain walking trails, peaceful lakes, and picturesque villages provide unforgettable opportunities to discover the spectacular landscapes of North Wales. Create lasting memories by the coast at Faraway.
