More information

This tranquil, studio-style lodge rests on the fringes of the seaside town of Scarborough. Affording views over the luscious, open countryside and offering a superb location for exploring the Moors, Heritage Coast and seaside amenities of Scarborough, Foxes Den is a great choice for a family. Internally, this wooded-clad lodge features an open-plan layout with a rustic feel; after a day of exploring, curl up on the sofa beside the woodburning stove, catching up on your favourite shows from the Smart TV. When you’re not sampling the fine cuisines of Scarborough, utilise the well-appointed kitchen for your home-cooking, benefitting from a dishwasher so you won’t have to lift a finger when cleaning up! The enclosed garden is a real highlight, offering a set of table and chairs that is ideal for alfresco dining, whilst the covered hot tub is a welcome addition, perfect for soothing your muscles after a long walk. Scarborough has much to offer, with North Bay and South Bay providing two stretches of beautiful, golden sandy beaches certainly worth a visit. Other attractions in the town include Scarborough Castle, SEA LIFE Scarborough and the Museum of Coastal Heritage and Geology, whilst there are plenty of fine restaurants to treat the group to. Head to the popular town of Pickering, home to Pickering Castle, an imposing 13th century fortress, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway where you can hop on board and enjoy a scenic route through the National Park. Foxes Den provides an idyllic break, whatever time of year.
