Named after Winifred Frost, a fish biologist and known for her contribution to the FBA, this superb cottage has an-open plan living area with patio doors opening out to a private balcony over Windermere. Accompanying this is a luxury bedroom with a super king-size double bed, making this a perfect retreat to return to after exploring the area of the Lake District. About the owner – Founded in 1929, The Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) is a thriving membership association, independent scientific organisation and a registered charity. The FBA promote freshwater science through a number of ways, such as innovative research, science projects, training courses and workshops, maintained specialist scientific facilities, national and international scientific meetings and publications.
