Head in the centre of Helston and treat the group to a meal at one of the many restaurants, pubs, or cafés, including The Coffee Hut, and Ann’s Pasties or the award-winning Gear Farm for traditional pasties. Within the town, take a step back in time as you visit the Museum of Cornish Life and learn about the many stories and legends told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Just a short but scenic drive away, there is a wealth of beaches and coves to discover, including Porthleven Beach, Poldhu Beach, Kennack Sands and Coverack Cove, perfect for an evening stroll and a pint in the harbour. Attractions worth a visit include the family-friendly Roskilly’s Farm, the National Trust site at St Michael’s Mount and the charming town of Porthleven which has fantastic beaches, an attractive harbour and loads of cafes, restaurants, shops, and bars.
