What could be more fun than a fishing trip departing from the harbour in the summer months then cooking up the catch that evening or perhaps hopping on a ferry for lunch across the bay in the fabulous waterfront town of Fowey. The nearest sandy beaches are at Penstreath just outside the village and Pentewan, just over two miles by car or less on the coast path, both offering a fun day out whatever the weather. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the infamous Eden Project are both within 10 miles and well worth a visit during you stay.
