Entered through a side porch, an inner door leads into the kitchen.

A galley kitchen and one step lead up to the adjacent dining room. Kitchen appliances included fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is a pleasant, dual aspect sitting room with a television and an electric fire set in the stone hearth.

Bedrooms

There are two spacious bedrooms with hand basins. The first bedroom has two twin single beds, and the other has a 4ft6 double bed. There is also a further cosy, smaller single bedroom.

Shower Room

A shower room with a hand basin and a separate W.C. completes the accommodation.

Just a short drive away, Cubert village offers a convenient grocery store with Post Office, as well as a welcoming pub and restaurant. Some of Cornwall’s most breathtaking sandy beaches are close at hand, including Crantock Beach and Holywell Bay, both only 1.5 miles away. Slightly further afield, West Pentire offers spectacular coastal scenery and a seasonal passenger ferry to the vibrant seaside town of Newquay, just 5 miles by road, famous for its surf, restaurants, shops, and family attractions.

The area is ideal for families, walkers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike, with nearby golf courses, riding stables, and scenic walks across Cubert Common leading to the dramatic coastal footpath. Family favourites including Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay are only a ten-minute drive away. A regular bus service also provides easy access to both Newquay and the historic cathedral city of Truro.

If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of normal life, a holiday in Cubert is guaranteed to provide you with exactly that. Set just over a mile inland from Holywell Bay, you’ll soon fall in love with the gorgeous coastal scenery and relaxed pace of life in this friendly Cornish village.

Nestled on Cornwall’s north coast, five miles west of Newquay, Cubert is surrounded by beautiful beaches and sweeping bays. Holywell Bay is the nearest beach, only a three minute drive or 20-minute walk away, while Crantock, Perranporth and Porth Joke are also nearby. Here, powerful Atlantic waves line golden sands and craggy rock-pools, jam-packed with marine life.

A stay in Cubert wouldn’t be complete without taking to North Cornwall’s famously good waves. In fact, the surfing conditions here are some of the best in the country! Experienced surfers will be spoilt for choice, while beginners needing lessons will find expert tuition and equipment hire at Holywell Bay, Perranporth and nearby Newquay.

But holidays in Cubert aren’t just about the beach. The village itself has lots to offer, with a little grocery shop, a selection of places to eat, a beautiful thatched pub and a quirky church that was struck by lightning. The surrounding area is teeming with history, including two holy wells, one of which lies in a magical sea cave on Holywell Bay beach. It’s only accessible at low tide and was thought to have curative powers!

Take your time to explore the spectacular countryside that surrounds Cubert. Pack your rucksack with Cornish pasties and a flask of tea and enjoy a blustery walk along the coastal paths for superb views of craggy cliff faces, sea birds and rolling swell.
