Enter the front door and set down your things within the open-plan living space, a bright and attractive room where you can relax. A large Smart TV can entertain on a quiet evening in as you watch from your snug position from one of the two sky blue sofas, a welcome sight after a vigorous walk in the Peaks. Over on the other side of the room the kitchen grants you use of several appliances to cook up some delicious food for the group, ready to serve up at the dining table, while in the summer months enjoy alfresco dining out in the open barn next door, a lovely change and a way to enjoy more of the summer heat. Back inside the warmth of this traditional looking property, when the evening draws in, head upstairs to one of the two bedrooms; both perfect for families, the first bedroom holds a set of bunk beds and a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a king-size and a sofa bed which can be made into two children’s single beds, ensuring everyone has a place to rest their head. Completing the interior is the family bathroom, where a bath with a hand-held shower, and a separate walk-in shower provide you the perfect spots to feel refreshed morning and night. Wake up in the mornings and take in the gorgeous surrounding views of Gratton, and head out to begin exploring, visit the Nine Ladies Stone Circle not far away near to Stanton Lees, an incredible Bronze Age circular stone formation with many walks and routes passing through here. The beautiful and grand Chatsworth House is a must-see for its amazing sculpture and art collections within, as well as the stunning architectural exterior surrounded by the luscious countryside, used as Mr Darcy’s Pemberley in the 2005 adaption of Pride and Prejudice, it makes for a wonderful day out.
