This wonderful, rural cottage is located in a pretty hamlet of cottages just 20 minutes South of Norwich city centre and offers an abundance of things to do nearby. It’s perfect for exploring both the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline. This traditional, detached cottage has been extended and renovated to a very high standard, offering exceptional accommodation for friends and families alike. Parking is directly outside and there is access via the side door to a handy utility room with cloakroom. This is an ideal space for walking gear after a day out exploring the local footpaths and those further afield. From here you enter into the real hub of the house with a wonderful, open-plan, light and spacious kitchen, dining and seating area overlooking the back patio and raised garden. This really is an ideal space for all guests to enjoy together. During the warmer months you can access the back patio for alfresco dining. There is plenty of room for guests to escape to for some quiet time, with a cosy sitting room and a woodburning stove, plus a snug room. Both offer a perfect space to relax with a book. The sitting room is ideal for enjoying a good movie in front of a roaring fire on cooler evenings after a day out exploring. Upstairs has four comfortable, cosy bedrooms, including a master with an en-suite shower room. The remaining bedrooms have continued the theme throughout the property of being completed to a very high standard. Although this is a quiet, rural location you are spoilt for choice with things to do nearby. It is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with many paths and rural roads linking both inland and coastal towns and villages from your doorstep. The property is located just eight miles South of the vibrant city of Norwich and eight miles North of the market town of Beccles. Beccles offers a great selection of cafes, shops and restaurants as well as the opportunity to take a day boat on the broads to explore this wonderful network of waterways. A little further afield you can enjoy the coast and popular coastal towns such as Gorlestone, Southwold and Aldeburgh. Ideal for families and friends looking for a rural escape with plenty to explore locally. Greenacres is an excellent cottage for those family breaks.
