There are some excellent routes for walkers and cyclists in the local area as well as trail and fell running to enjoy Why not stretch your legs and stroll along to the famous viewpoint at Monsal Head or follow the Monsal Trail? There are many paths which will lead you to superb panoramic views. With a couple of pubs only on the doorstep at Great Longstone, you won’t be stuck for somewhere to enjoy a refreshing beverage or two. If you fancy something sweet, Bakewell is only two miles away, home of the famous Bakewell tart.
