For those feeling active, head to the Western Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) where you will find the Black Mountain Range offering opportunities for walking, mountain biking and horse riding, as well as catching glimpses of red kites in the Red Kite Feeding Centre, Llanddeusant. Alternatively, head to the woodland of Allt Nant-y-Ci which is ideal for more leisurely strolls and off-road bike trails for those feeling more adventurous. Other attractions which can be reached within a scenic drive include, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Dinefwr Park and Castle, as well as Paxton’s Tower.
