Gwel An Mor, a welcoming single-storey lodge nestled in the village of Portreath, in Cornwall. Perfect for families or friends, this coastal abode features a hot tub, a warming woodburning stove and proximity to the beach and other amenities. Park the car and hear the gravel crunch as you approach the exterior of this stylish wooden-clad lodge. Ascend the stairs to the decking area and enter. Upon entering, you will be met with a bright and contemporary open-plan area, consisting of a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. In the kitchen, the shiny white fixtures, a sleek black countertop and an island set the scene. The chef of the group can bring the kitchen to life with the aroma of home-cooked meals. After the delicious aromas fill the air, come together at the dining table, comfortably seating six guests. Let laughter echo through the open-plan living space as you choose between the sofas and enjoy a film night with the glow of the woodburning stove beside you. As the evening draws to a close, choose between a bathroom and a shower room to rinse away the sea salt. Then choose between three spacious and welcoming bedrooms, a king-size that can be split into twin beds to suit your needs, a twin room or a double bedroom, curl up under plush bedding and recharge for tomorrow. In the morning, enjoy a book and a brew on the decking area, soak in the coastal air as you dine alfresco, and in the evening, take a dip in the hot tub to soothe your muscles after your adventures. Explore all the beauty that Cornwall offers from your coastal abode, and take a short stroll to Portreath Beach, squeeze into your wetsuits for some bodyboarding, pack your bucket and spade to build sandcastles, or pack your suncream to lounge and enjoy an ice cream with your loved ones. Families will enjoy a trip to Paradise Park and JungleBarn Cornwall, where you can spot the majestic rare birds, parents can be inspired in the walled garden, and children can take a trip on the miniature railway. Take a car ride to visit this hilltop castle, enjoy the estuary views at Pendennis Castle, explore the grounds with cannons and artillery dating back over 500 years, and witness a jousting tournament if you are lucky. Gwel An Mor, a lovely base for groups exploring the beauty of Cornwall.
