Halvosso is one of four traditional quarrymans terraced cottages situated in the tiny hamlet of Halvosso. Peaceful and secluded, yet a mere mile to the main road to Falmouth. This cottage has timeless charm, is decorated in a modern country style and enjoys first floor views over the countryside towards Falmouth Bay.
Scenic, rural walks can be enjoyed from the front door or head out for a walk along the coast paths. The port of Falmouth is less than a 10 minute drive and as well as daily provisions, offers independent shops, restaurants, traditional inns, galleries and wonderful beaches.
Renovated to a high standard, by the owners that live across the lane, Halvosso offers a cleverly designed kitchen, a wonderful living room with enormous inglenook fireplace with welcoming wood burning stove and dining table. The really ancient town of Penryn, now home to the Combined University of Cornwall, is 10 minutes away and if interested in architecture, is worth a visit – there are many ope ways with pretty cottages to view and a dinky town museum. The hidden coves and fishing villages around the Lizard Peninsular will fascinate, and closer by, the stunning sub-tropical Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are a must. Halvosso is a great choice of holiday home at any time of year and would suit a small family or group of friends wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday.
