Overlooking the picturesque harbour in the bustling seaside town of Whitby, lies this stylish, three-storey property, Harbour Sunset. Bi-fold doors lead out to the balcony where you can really take in the scene; gaze at the boats as they come and go, admire the charmingly painted houses nestled around the harbour and breath in the wonderfully fresh sea air. Some of the most popular attractions in the town include the 199 Steps up to the imposing Whitby Abbey, said to have inspired Bram Stoker’s writing of ‘Dracula’. Visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum where you can learn more about Cook through historical and ethnographic exhibitions, or head to the Whitby Museum where you can learn of the enticing history of the town and of course plan days spent on it’s stunning beach, perfect for a day of sandcastle building and watersports in the summer months. Further afield, the breath-taking North York Moors offers a welcome change of scenery, with stunning moorland, ancient abbeys and picturesque villages nestled side by side, it’s well worth a visit.
