To the rear of the property is a gravelled area, where you can relish a steaming cup of coffee whilst watching the sun rise over the encompassing countryside. With Moel y Gest, a rocky hill that offers stunning views over the Llyn Peninsula and Eryri’s (Snowdonia’s) highest peaks, set a short distance away, you’re in an outdoor adventurer’s paradise, whilst the fine sands of Criccieth Beach are idyllic for an afternoon of sunbathing or swimming. Consider stopping by the ruins of Castell Criccieth, perched high above Tremadog Bay, or treat your better half to an indulgent meal at one of the town’s many eateries, which include a number of traditional pubs and restaurants as well as tasty takeout. Visitors should not miss Portmeirion, a picturesque village known for its stunning Italianate architecture, while The Welsh Highland Railway runs through Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park from the historic town of Porthmadog.
