Set within over an acre of private woodland grounds, 1 Hodge Howe Cottages is a traditional semi‑detached stone cottage, thoughtfully updated to provide a high standard of comfort all year round. The property is located within woodland surroundings but is part of a private estate, and the surrounding land is not for exclusive guest use.
Inside, the cottage retains plenty of original character, including exposed beams and a feature fireplace in the welcoming sitting room. Comfortable seating and a multi‑fuel stove make this an ideal space to relax after a day exploring the fells, while the Freeview TV, DVD player, Hi‑Fi and Wi-Fi ensure homely comforts throughout your stay.

For further exploration, Ullswater, Buttermere and Borrowdale provide stunning scenery and excellent walking opportunities.
