    This smart, detached stone cottage is ideally situated close to a pretty harbour and sandy beach, in the village of Findochty on the fabulous north east coast of Scotland. This spacious fisherman’s cottage is perfect for a family group, or group of friends, who will appreciate the space within the property, which benefits from two comfortable sitting rooms, one of which has a welcoming electric fire. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare tasty home-cooked meals that can be enjoyed in the formal dining room next door. On the upper floor, the generously proportioned bedrooms ensure a comfortable night’s sleep for all and at the rear of the cottage is a large and fully enclosed patio area which is a real sun trap and a perfect place to enjoy a barbecue or pre-dinner glass of wine. A short stroll from the cottage takes you down to the pretty harbour, with its colourful array of yachts and a small sandy beach that will be much appreciated by children. Close by you can enjoy a tasty bite to eat at the Admirals Inn, whilst gazing out to sea and admiring a wonderful sunset. The north east coastline has plenty of pretty fishing villages to explore and is home to bottlenose dolphins, which can easily be spotted along with a multitude of other wildlife. There are also some great golf courses nearby and fabulous walks which allow you to fully appreciation the unspoilt beauty of this area.
