6 The Watermark is a semi-detached, coastal holiday home arranged in an
‘upside down’ design to make the most of the spectacular views, in the
small seaside village of Porth. It has recently been refurbished
throughout including a new kitchen and bathrooms.
Ideal for couples or families, you enter the house on the first floor into
the spacious, open-plan living space with a lounge, dining, and kitchen
areas.
French doors open onto a decked balcony with glass screens taking full
advantage of the amazing view across Porth Island towards Watergate Bay and
beyond.
On the ground floor are the two bedrooms both of which have patio doors
opening onto the rear decked area and private garden, perfect for an early
morning cup of tea watching the waves.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, and an en-suite
bath/shower, basin and wc.

with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and wc.
6 The Watermark is superbly located for families, watersports lovers and
walking enthusiasts alike, this spacious holiday home has possibly the best
views in the area, with an enviable position overlooking Porth Island. It
lies in a small development within the Glendorgal Estate, with a direct
private path to the beach.
A short scenic walk along the coastal path takes you to Porth with its
wonderful family beach, a pub directly on the beach selling traditional bar
meals, as well as a shop, tearoom, café and ice cream shop.Further along
the South-West Coastal path to the north is Watergate Bay, famous for a
variety of water sports and a selection of restaurants within the Watergate
Bay hotel complex.
Virtually on our doorstep in the other direction is privately owned Lusty
Glaze Beach, a beautiful beach with surf school, excellent bar, pizzas and
restaurant (seasonal opening).
An enjoyable walk further along the coast will take you into Newquay town
which has a range of visitor attractions and unrivalled beaches, and an
active fishing harbour.
The choice of pubs, restaurants and takeaways in Newquay is guaranteed to
suit all tastes.
The city of Truro, and “Rick Stein’s” Padstow are within an easy drive, as
well as the award-winning Eden Project and the many famous gardens of
Cornwall.
Local restaurants offer Cornish wines, produce and fresh seafood.
This is a great place for holidays or a getaway in all seasons.
