With a plethora of pubs and restaurants to pick from, Aberfeldy Watermill Bookshop & Café, and Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, which offers tours of a historic 1890s distillery, the town of Aberfeldy is an ideal starting point for your Highland excursions. Cycling, hiking, rafting, and canyoning enthusiasts will find many great activities here. North of your vacation spot is Cairngorms National Park, a breathtaking terrain full of lochs, high summits like Ben Macdui, and miles and miles of hiking and biking trails. While travelling through the area, stop at Pitlochry to visit the Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre and the Atholl Palace Museum.
