With ground floor accommodation throughout, this Knightstown cottage has one double bedroom with an en-suite, as well as two single bedrooms, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements. Outside this Knightstown cottage is a large lawned garden with views across the sea and to the Kerry mainland, so you can truly enjoy the unique tranquillity of this delightful part of Ireland. The pretty fishing village of Knightstown is just over a mile away and has recently seen a redevelopment of the marina. The village has a variety of shops, cafes and pubs and is the location of the car ferry that crosses the short distance between Valentia Island and the mainland. Activities nearby include boat trips to the Skellig Islands, diving and sea angling. You can take a wander along one of the many walks on the island and admire the stunning Fogher Sea Cliffs or view the abundance of wildlife that call this beautiful island home. A short drive will bring you to the famous Ring of Kerry and the towns of Cahersiveen and Waterville, or why not take a trip to one of the many unspoilt beaches in the area?
