A charming getaway awaits you at Kernyk Cottage, a characterful terrace cottage resting amidst the idyllic village of Perranuthnoe that lies between the charming town of Marazion and the golden sands of Praa Sands.
Within striking distance of a glorious beach, as well as the famous South West Coastal Path, it makes an exceptional base for a holiday with your partner or for a small family.
Kernyk’s front has recently been lime-rendered back to its original charm. Entering through the front door into a newly refurbished open-plan lounge and dining area, tastefully decorated in a modern, yet cottagey feel. The living room has a working wood fireplace and brand new radiators keep the cottage warm through cooler seasons.
The dining area has a new kitchen with sliding patio doors allowing easy access to a quiet and sheltered sun trap to the rear, perfect for alfresco dining or just relaxing with good company and a glass (or two) of wine.
Sleep is sure to come easy in the master bedroom, with its king size bed, made up with white linen sheets.
The single bedroom offers a comfortable space for an additional guest to catch their rest.
The cottage is located in the secluded village of Perranuthnoe, with the Victoria Inn (one of Cornwall’s oldest inns) a mere 100 yards from the front door. A stroll down towards the beach, you will pass an art gallery and gift shop, the Peppercorn Café and the well frequented Cabin beach café.
Perranuthnoe has access to the South West Coastal Path with the immediate coast an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Views of St Michael’s Mount are a short, easy walk to the west, with Cudden Point and Prussia Cove to the east.
