away within a quiet backwater of Kettlewell with the beck running
opposite that feeds the river Wharf. With off-road parking for up to four cars, stunning views, a glowing woodburning stove and welcoming two well-behaved dogs, this charming abode is perfect for families or friends seeking a tranquil escape. Tucked along a quiet country lane, Langcliffe House greets you with the timeless charm of a traditional rustic Yorkshire stone dwelling. A low stone wall, softened by flowering shrubs and potted blooms, frames the approach. Step through the distinctive blue door and into a high-ceilinged hallway, where cool tiled flooring meets warm-toned walls adorned with artwork—an inviting prelude to the comfort within. An utility room just off the hall offers a practical space for laundry essentials, with a washing machine and tumble dryer tucked neatly away. From here, the home opens into a generous living space designed for gathering and unwinding. The kitchen centres around a striking purple AGA and a central
island that invites morning coffee or evening prep chats. From here the bifold doors lead to the stunning conservatory with
panoramic views of the garden and surrounding Dale. A jukebox adds a playful note, while the dining table—set for
ten—promises long, laughter-filled meals. Sofas and a hanging chair invite you to linger, while a Smart TV make this a favourite spot for relaxed evenings. The doors open along the front providing access to the deck and garden area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity. A second cosy sitting room, carpeted and intimate, offers a woodburning stove and Smart TV—ideal for quieter evenings. Bifold doors here open back towards the main living space, creating a sense of flow while offering a peaceful retreat. Follow the pretty wallpapered wall and carpeted staircase to the first floor, where three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms await. Each double room has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, and each offers its own perspective on the surrounding countryside. A landing space with a seating area with a selection of books provides a quiet nook for reading or just enjoying the view with a window that frames the hills beyond. To freshen up, head to the sleek family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower that serves the upper rooms, while a ground-floor cloakroom adds convenience. Up in the eaves, the second-floor family room is a versatile hideaway with a double bed and two single beds. Two Velux windows draw in natural light and reveal uninterrupted views of the rolling dales. Step outside and let the garden draw you in.
