It has a comfortable lounge/dining area perfect for relaxing in front of the TV after a long day exploring the surrounding countryside. There are walking routes accessible right from the door of the cottage, with Tarn Hows, Latterbarrow and Blelham Hows all easily accessible. It’s just a mile to the pretty town of Hawkshead, with its pubs and unique shops as well as the inspiration for Beatrix Potter’s books – Hill Top. Also within five miles is the delightful area of Langdale, while Ambleside, on the edge of Lake Windermere is just a ten minute drive away, offering a range of amenities and activities.
