On entering Lavender, you will be immediately struck by the light, bright and modern interior.

Kitchen

Just off to the right of the hallway is the well-equipped kitchen with all the usual appliances, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and washing machine for your convenience.

Living room

A comfortable lounge with a dining table to seat 4. The room also has an electric fire next to the TV. Why not relax on the sofa and look out to the back garden, which you can access via the French doors in this room, one step down.

Bedroom 1

Good-sized bedroom with a king-size bed and ample built-in wardrobe space to serve both bedrooms.

Bedroom 2

The pretty twin bedroom with full-size single beds is at the front of the property with a small dressing table built in. It is best suited for children, although adults are welcome.

Perfectly located for exploring North Cornwall, you’ll find the famous Camel Trail within walking distance and a stunning selection of golden sandy beaches just a short drive away. With two dedicated parking spaces conveniently located opposite, your stay is as easy as it is enjoyable.

Wadebridge itself is a charming Cornish market town, brimming with independent shops, welcoming cafés, and excellent restaurants. Don’t miss the much-loved weekly Country Market every Thursday, where you can sample delicious local produce, from homemade jams and chutneys to freshly baked cakes and unique crafts.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Camel Trail is less than a mile away and offers one of Cornwall’s most scenic cycling routes. Enjoy a leisurely, mostly flat ride to the picturesque harbour town of Padstow, just five miles away, where you can indulge in everything from award-winning dining to classic fish and chips by the sea. Cycle in the opposite direction and you’ll reach historic Bodmin, home to fascinating attractions including the old courthouse, jail, and Cornwall’s only full-size working steam railway.

Families are wonderfully catered for too, with Camel Creek Adventure Park just five miles away offering year-round fun, and Springfields a little further afield providing even more entertainment for all ages.

When it comes to beaches, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Within a 20-minute drive are some of Cornwall’s most spectacular beaches, including Polzeath, Rock, Trevone, and Harlyn Bay. Whether you’re looking to surf, relax with the family, or explore the breathtaking coastal paths, there’s something here for everyone. Polzeath, in particular, is a favourite for surfers and families alike, with lifeguards in season and plenty of places to eat, drink, and enjoy a seaside ice cream.

Venture a little further and discover the postcard-perfect harbours of Padstow and Port Isaac. The latter, famous as the setting for Doc Martin, offers winding lanes, whitewashed cottages, and a truly authentic Cornish atmosphere, perfect for a day of exploring, dining, and soaking up coastal charm.

Adding to the convenience, the Royal Cornwall Showground is just a ten-minute walk away, hosting a variety of events throughout the year.

The front garden is home to the lavender which normally flowers in the summer months with a landscaped rockery area, the enclosed patio at the rear has six wooden steep steps up to the wooden decked area and playroom with table football. Garden furniture provided.

The local area

One of North Cornwall’s main market towns, Wadebridge is an excellent base from which to discover the county. The town sits on the Camel Trail giving both cyclists and walkers access to over 18 miles of largely traffic-free paths in some of the most spectacular countryside in the South West, as well as to the sea at neighbouring Padstow.

Wadebridge acts as a hub for many popular Cornish towns and villages, with a good mix of shops, market and a varied calendar of events including the Royal Cornwall Show and The Cornwall Folk Festival.

Nearby Padstow is a popular seaside resort and home to the National Lobster Hatchery, Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and other Michelin Star restaurants. The picturesque coastal town is reminiscent of a bygone era, with many fishing vessels sitting in the bay, white washed houses and cosy taverns and cafés.

Bodmin Moor is also easily accessible from Wadebridge along the Camel Trail offering miles of walking across rugged moorland, steeped in mythical legends. Tintagel Castle, said to be the birthplace of King Arthur, is just a short drive away. The castle ruins are perched on top of dramatic cliffs and are well worth a visit for the views alone.

For those seeking out a beach, Wadebridge offers good access to some of the best beaches in the country with the popular surfing beaches at Newquay close by, as well as the quieter beaches of Polzeath and Harlyn Bay.
