Well worth visiting are the stately homes and gardens of Castle Howard (from Brideshead Revisited) and Duncombe Park, along with the pretty market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside. Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the excellent courses at Malton and Kirkbymoorside, whilst culture lovers will enjoy Byland and Rievaulx Abbeys.
