    Long Crag Annexe, located in the heart of the Lake District at Ambleside, offers stunning views over the magnificent fells and amenities on the doorstep making this the ideal home away from home.

    This ground floor apartment offers spacious and affordable accommodation for a couple and their dog who want to recharge their batteries in the Lakes at any time of year.

    The spacious living room has beautiful views over Wansfell, a feature flame effect electric stove and a large flat screen TV and DVD player. The well equipped modern dining kitchen has access to the shared garden with its patio and lovely planting. The bright and airy king size bedroom has a large picture window making the most of the marvellous views, and the modern shower room has a large vanity unit and WC. Throughout the apartment is bright and spacious, decorated in a contemporary style.

    The pretty garden has an elevated patio area with garden seating which is the ideal spot for drinking in the gorgeous views – plus a glass of wine or a local ale after a day in the Lakes. One off road parking space is available in the driveway, which is shared with the owners who live upstairs from Long Crag Annexe.

There are three cinemas within walking distance, and the proximity of good local transport links means you can leave the car at home.

    Talk a walk to Waterhead Pier and catch one of the famous steamers to Bowness, or take a scenic drive over the magnificent Kirkstone Pass to romantic Ullswater and Wordsworth Country around Keswick and Grasmere. Visit the original gastropub, the renowned Drunken Duck at Hawkeshead, or enjoy the spectacular views from the summit of Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England.
