Visit the iconic Kilkenny Castle, St Canice’s Cathedral or Rothe House for a trip back in time. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes within the region to be discovered. The gardens at Woodstock are most certainly a must whilst staying in the area, not to mention Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown. Further afield is the historic town of Cashel, home to the famous Rock of Cashel and the sandy beaches of the South East, including Tramore in County Waterford and Curracloe in County Wexford. A superb destination and one which won’t disappoint!
