Leading from the kitchen is an inviting sitting room with an open fire where you can kick off your shoes and curl up with a glass of your favourite tipple! To the rear is an enclosed patio area where the kids can play safely and you can soak up the sunshine. Bicycles are provided for your use and a park, playground and multi-use games area are located across the road. Within a short walk is The Orchard House Bar & Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst the city centre of Kilkenny is further on and offers tradition, history and cuisine with no shortage of shops, pubs and eateries to sample during your holiday. Visit the iconic Kilkenny Castle, St Canice’s Cathedral or Rothe House for a trip back in time. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes within the region to be discovered. The gardens at Woodstock are most certainly a must whilst staying in the area, not to mention Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown. Further afield is the historic town of Cashel, home to the famous Rock of Cashel and the sandy beaches of the South East, including Tramore in County Waterford and Curracloe in County Wexford. A superb destination and one which won’t disappoint!
