Moving through the home, locate the dining room, featuring an elegant table; tuck-into a feast, or on rainy days, enjoy a traditional board game. Rustle up home-cooked dishes in the kitchen, before savouring the incredible views and final moments of the sun from the garden. As day turns to night, choose between two wonderful mezzanine bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with en-suites to prepare for a night’s rest. Awaken with a shower or relax your muscles in the freestanding bath to start your day right. If you fancy a break from the kitchen, take a scenic drive into the village of Peterchurch to enjoy a hearty meal at The Nags Head and pick up the essentials from the local village shop and Post Office, or a nearby supermarket. Venture to the market town of Hay-on-Wye, known as a ‘book town’ with its abundance of book shops; here you can enjoy strolls along the River Wye, unique cinema, or dine out at a fancy restaurant or a selection of intriguing and quirky pubs.
