The Isle of Portland is a scenic place to visit, easily reached on bikes, passing Castle Cove and the ruins of Sandsfoot Castle. The Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a great area for walking and cycling, with the South West Coast Path cutting inland through the countryside before rejoining the coast at West Bexington.
