Pack up your seaside essentials and head to Blacklands Beach for an exploration with your pooch, whilst also nearby is the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail, both running through the town and are excellent for keen walkers and cyclists. The area offers a variety of activities for all ages: trek up the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, England’s steepest and only funicular railway, built in 1890 to transport people and goods up and down from the harbour, and take part in the many water-sports activities in the harbour, including kayaking and paddleboarding.
