Mallards is just 500 yards from Pentewan Beach which is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and watersports enthusiasts and for walkers and cyclists. You can find spectacular dog friendly beaches at Gorran Haven, Carhayes, Perranporth, Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth. The Pentewan Valley Trail offer 4km of inland paths through beautiful woodland along with the coastal footpath which stretches in either direction over rugged cliff tops and where you can spot hidden coves. For those who wish to tour the area, there are a number of great days out to be enjoyed. A trip to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, pretty Mevagissey and the Eden Project are all with a 20 minute drive, or further afield, the National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth is an impressive and educational attraction. With its low beamed ceilings this charming cottage will provide you with a wonderful and memorable holiday.
