This former hotel and pub has been reconfigured to provide straightforward, comfortable and sociable accommodation, well‑suited to large groups and family gatherings. Located in the centre of the popular walking and cycling town of Penmaenmawr, the property sits in an elevated position close to Sychnant Pass and the edge of Snowdonia National Park.
Spread across four floors, the building offers eighteen bedrooms and room for up to 56 guests, giving even the largest groups plenty of space. Sleeping arrangements include a practical sixteen‑bed bunk room ideal for younger guests, a simple four‑poster room for anyone who wants a bit more privacy, and a family suite with two connected bedrooms. With many rooms featuring super king‑size zip/link beds that can be set up as twins, the property can be arranged to suit youth groups, school trips, family reunions, friends’ get‑togethers or well‑behaved stag and hen groups.
The main living areas are designed for groups to relax and spend time together. The sitting room offers a widescreen TV for films and sporting events, while the lower ground floor features a basic disco space with colourful lighting and a games area equipped with pool, shuffleboard, table football, air hockey and darts—great for low‑key evening entertainment.
The kitchen and dining space is set up for communal cooking and large shared meals, with two double ovens, three full‑size fridge/freezers and two dishwashers to make catering for big numbers easier. For groups who prefer not to cook, the town’s restaurants, takeaways, pubs and supermarkets are all within a short walk, and several golf clubs are nearby.
The property sits close to several well‑used walking and cycling routes, including the North Wales Path, which leads to the Fairy Glen waterfall, and the Wales Coast Path, offering access to beaches, coastal walks, Conwy, Bangor and various sailing and watersports activities. Local adventure attractions such as high ropes courses, Zip World and Bounce Below are also within easy reach.
Overall, this practical and spacious property provides a simple, well‑located base for large groups looking for comfortable accommodation during their North Wales stay.
