Narracott Down is a delightful two-bedroom detached property sitting within the owner’s private grounds in South Molton, Devon. Ideal for a family or group of friends who wish to experience an eco-friendly retreat, the 30-acre grounds are a haven for a wide variety of native flora and fauna with a stream running through the length of the valley, feeding 9 pond lakes of varying sizes. The nature reserve is a sanctuary for any homeless wild animals. The upper part of the valley is an official country wildlife site, which recognises the high biodiversity value. Narracott Down was built in 2024 and has been sensitively designed, with natural and local materials. The open-plan living space benefits from natural lighting as well as the doors onto the covered veranda, creating a great social space to enjoy whatever the weather. The holiday let contributes to local ecotourism, and comes under the council’s policy to promote some inland sustainable eco-tourism to relieve congestion in coastal towns and allow people to enjoy the beauty and benefits of George Nympton, South Molton, whilst supporting the local economy.
