Slightly further afield, by car or the fantastic Jurassic coaster bus service has access to a wealth of popular destinations such as Swanage, Lulworth Cove, the Isle of Portland, Chesil Beach and the Fleet, Abbotsbury and The Swannery, whilst moving onto the fossil hunter’s magnet of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Further inland, the famous Dorset hills and countryside with the Roman county town of Dorchester, iconic Shaftsbury and Cerne Abbas (Giant) to name but a few.
