The ground floor consists of a magnificent open plan living area with cosy sitting area, a lovely woodburning stove, bespoke fitted kitchen and a small dining area, all with pretty views of the garden and attached meadow. The king-size bed is situated in just the right position to take advantage of the floor to ceiling windows and guests can sit in bed with a morning cuppa and watch the sheep grazing in the attached meadow. Patio doors lead out onto a smart decked area providing a great place to sit out and enjoy an evening meal, a few drinks and take in the lovely countryside. Melling is situated in the Lune Valley, between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales with many walks from the doorstep. The market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is close by with an eclectic mix of tearooms, pubs and small independent shops to be explored. A few miles to the south lies the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its beautiful countryside, amazing wildlife and cultural heritage.
