You’ll find Oscar’s Pad at the end of a residential street with a private driveway to park up and unpack your belongings. Kick off your shoes in the porch and be welcomed by a pretty sitting room with white beams, two cushioned sofas and a TV for hosting movie nights by the gentle glow of the woodburning stove. Rustle up home-cooked meals in the beautifully-appointed kitchen/diner, with attractive wooden countertops, stylish flooring and essential amenities for your self-catering holiday, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a washing machine to quickly clean muddy clothes! A spacious king size bedroom awaits you after the day’s adventures, looking across luscious countryside views, and a twin for guests to rest their heads. When it’s time to venture outside, Brynsiencyn is a delightful village boasting incredible views over the Menai Straits with the mountain range of Snowdonia in sight; stock up in the village shop, dine in the traditional pub or head further afield to explore more of this spectacular island. Jump in the car and head to Beaumaris, a captivating seaside town to stroll along the pier for outstanding mountain and sea views, marvel at the ruins of the town’s 13th-century castle, or wander the streets to spot a variety of architecture, from medieval to Victorian, hosting a range of independent traders. Sun-seekers will find plenty of sandy beaches to spend the day paddling the shores or trekking coastal paths, such as the expansive Traeth Llanddwyn south west of the island, whilst the unspoilt sands of Lligwy Beach lie in the north east.
