This superb cottage forms a perfect base for families and friends wishing to explore the nearby lakes and mountains with Lake Windermere just two miles away. This delightful cottage is presented over four floors with five bedrooms, including one with a Jacuzzi bath and one a freestanding bath, and there’s a separate bathroom available.There is a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove, ideal for those chilly evenings after a day’s walking, and a lower ground floor second sitting room, a great space for you to relax or a separate room for children to make their own. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is the main hub of the cottage where you can gather together to prepare and enjoy delicious food. Outside there is a private, enclosed patio where you can relax with a refreshing evening drink or morning coffee. At the end of the road there is access into Queen’s Park, an excellent place for the children to run off any excess energy or to enjoy ball games together. Being located in the midst of the Lakes, there are endless choices of activities to please young and old. Explore the pretty local villages of Hawkshead, Ambleside and Grasmere, or hop on board the Windermere Steamer. Hire bikes and cycle through Grizedale Forest, or climb up Orrest Head and admire the breathtaking views over Lake Windermere.
