The dining kitchen is well equipped and there’s a ground floor shower room with wash basin and WC. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room, both with wash basins, and then a steep staircase leads to the third twin bedroom; on this floor there is a bathroom with wash basin and a separate WC with wash basin.

Keswick is a lively Lakeland town with a host of visitor attractions from the Puzzling Place to the King Kong indoor climbing centre. The Theatre by the Lake is a lovely way to spend a cultured evening while a trip on the Keswick launch is a must do for all the family. There are also shops, museums, parks, pubs and restaurants making this a fantastic base for a family holiday.

There’s plenty to do whatever direction you head in from Keswick. Go north and you’re in historic Carlisle with its castle and cathedral, just a stone’s throw from Hadrian’s Wall. To the west are the quieter lakes like Bassenthwaite and Buttermere plus the stunning Cumbrian coast. To the east lies vibrant Penrith with its soft play area, shops, bars, cinema and swimming pool.
